A surprising historical find

While traveling parts of New England.... at a Revolutionary war monument I discovered an interesting plaque...

This sounds pretty amazing and I did a search ... because the plaque lacked detail.... especially of the specifics .    Of course this is oral history from pre European invasion.   But I have to suggest that to all the nay-sayers of oral history, our Christian Bible is based on oral history too.  The story is really amazing and clearly a game changer at the time.  It also puts into perspective our current focus on war and confrontation ....
